HI, MY NAME IS MICHELLE AND I'M A QUILTER.

I'm thinking of starting a Quilter's Anonymous group, because I know there are many more out there like me. They are the ones who go to quilt stores wherever they are vacationing, just to see if there is something new or different. Yes, I am addicted to fabric, thread and quilting tools. I will not apologize for this, it is just a fact of life. I started my quilting adventure 30 years ago when I made a crib quilt for my infant son. My second project was a King size quilt for my bed...now that was a HUGE leap. But I still have that quilt today, even though it is looking a little ratty. My love of quilting continued to grow as I homeschooled my 2 children and taught my daughter to quilt. About 5 years ago the owner of my local quilt shop suggested I design a quilt to use the new panel they had received. And then the next year there were more new panels so more quilts had to be created. And so, 20 patterns later the adventure continues to grow and grow.
I am a long time Alaskan. I moved here as a child in 1973. I currently live in Nikiski, Alaska with my husband of 33 years.
